Mission Statement
"Rebuilding Our Communities, One Classmate at a Time"
As an alumni association executive board, our mission is to capture the many special qualities of our fellow classmates that can be used to help improve the quality of life for others that are negatively affected by their current situations. We want to use our respective gifts and resources to reclaim the spirit of community; when more people looked out for each other.
We know that no one person has all the answers but collectively we can make a positive difference in the lives of our fellow classmates which influences can be passed on to our children, neighborhoods and communities. Our mission is to use the economical and educational negatives as fuel to challenge our compassion and energies to support, to uplift, to encourage, and to motivate each other. This we know will inflict a renewed spirit of hope to so many people.
We acknowledge that the task(s) can be challenging and sometimes overwhelming but our mission is to remain committed and steadfast. The future of our children and children’s children are at stake.
Some of us have been linked together from Elementary and others from Middle School but once we came to Chester High we all entered into another realm of life. What we all share now is that piece of paper which was given to us some 35 years ago as we crossed that stage into adulthood.
Divinely orchestrated our paths took many different avenues and as the sands run out of our hour glass, we are coming back together, to inflict positive change not only in the city where most of us have called home but even in the people, neighborhoods and communities that we’ve had the opportunity to come in contact with.
Our mission is always to be respectful of others, even in our differences. So whether you are the owner of a business or sweep the owner’s floors, our mission is to be united while aiding and supporting our fellow man but most importantly our classmates.
Many have the right to claim being a graduate of Chester High and others can claim they went to the High but we share the only distinct and high privilege of being Chester High’s,
